Catch Saving J live on Cormac Battles show on 2FM this bank Holiday Sunday at 9.30pm.
The band recently were invited by 2fm producer Ian Wilson to record live at the infamous Studio 8 at RTE’s Radio Centre. The session will get its first airing on Bank Holiday Sun 25th Oct at 9.30 on Cormac Battle’s show on 2FM.
The band now join the archive of live sessions alongside U2, The Frames amd the Sex Pistols to name nut a few.
Tracks recorded live include Bus Stop, Mixed Up World, Venus and Timkeeper all taken from their debut “This City Street”

Hello Everybody!
Its been a busy couple of months here in the J camp. We have spent our time putting the final touches to our debut album (listening to track mixes, choosing artwork etc etc). We are now delighted to announce the arrival of This City Street. As a band we feel that all the hard work has paid off.They say you can only make one first impression and we intend on making it a good one! The album will be released on the 11th of September with an In store in Tower Records. The launch gig will take place in Whelans the following night. The album will be available in both cd and download formats (itunes etc).
The first single to be lifted off the album is a track called “Everybody”. We will put this track up on the page in the coming days, so stay tuned! Here is the first batch of confirmed gig dates, more to follow shortly.
